02: Mathys farm
The Mathys farm was built in 1715 as a town farm, served as an educational institution for the poor in the mid-19th century and is now a listed building. It has been owned by the Mathys family since 1928.
In addition to some fruit growing and arable farming, the farm is mainly used for dairy farming. The Mathys family owns over 20 cows and numerous other animals. They also offer adventure tourism attractions such as sleeping on straw, bed & breakfast, group catering and donkey rides.
Return to Heimiswilstrasse and turn right towards Heimiswil / Lueg. Follow the road until you reach the Landgasthof Löwen. Many famous guests have already stopped there - so you are in good company.
