20: The heart route
Today you have covered a few kilometers on Veloroute 99, the «Herzroute», known as the «most beautiful cycling route in Switzerland». If you wish, you can also hire an e-bike from our rental partner Rent a Bike. The Heart Route now consists of 13 stages from Lake Constance to Lake Geneva with numerous additional loops, such as the Langnau, Gotthelf and Burgdorf Heart Loops. You can find an overview with maps and times at herzroute.ch. By the way: you burn 150-350 kcal per half hour of cycling. Just in case you want to convert that into cheese.
Now follow cycle route 99 further into the old town and to the castle.
